New Summer Workshops | Marina Ballroom Project

The Marina Ballroom project, which is funded by Heritage Lottery Fund Young Roots, recreates the atmosphere of the Pavilion Dance Hall during the 1940 and early 1950′s. It engages young people (15-25) in the community and provides them with a chance to learn more about the past. There will a new series of workshops running this summer:

Workshops include: 1040′s history, Textiles, Fashion, Hair & Make up, jewelry making, Music and Dance, Graphic Design and Illustration.

The next workshop will take place on Sep 5th, and will focus on costume and textiles.
