John Whitaker - The Cloth Market
I am a painter living in St Brides super Ely with my wife and daughter. I have a studio in an old apple loft 10 minutes walk from our cottage. Young Man in a Cave was painted for an exhibition on the theme of caves at Oriel Canfas, Canton. The Cloth Market was the concluding work in a series the relationship between two people. It was shown at the Washington Gallery in 2010.
