An exhibition of artwork by students of Ashgrove School (pictured), Ysgol Erw'r Delyn and Gladstone College will be taking place in the Lower Gallery in the New Year. The three projects are very varied in media and subject matter.
At Gladstone College, under the supervision of artist Kate Derbyshire, teenage mums and pregnant teens made mosaic mirrors and plaques incorporating their babies' hand and footprints.
Artist Guy O'Donnell worked with pupils at Ashgrove School to produce three large pop art murals to be installed in the school grounds, while Barry artist Anita Brett worked with young people at Ysgol Erw'r Delyn to produce a multi-media mural.
The work will be on display the 10th and 11th January 2006.
These workshops were funded by the Arts Council of Wales, Children in Need and Help a South Wales Child.
