“ReWorked”
An Exhibition Employing Recycled Materials
Re-Worked showcases the selected winners and entrants in a competition that raises awareness of sustainability through art.

Held in conjunction with the Welsh School of Architecture and the Vale of Glamorgan Council Waste Management Department, entrants have been sought from all over the UK and show a wide range of artworks, created entirely from recycled materials as part of the Cardiff 2005 celebrations.

Richard Strachan
Richard Strachan’s work derives from the interaction of planes, light and colour within interior spaces.

The paintings convey the weight and proportionality of architectural geometry through illusionary qualities of colour. Layers of paint are bound together using transparent gloss and provide a highly reflective surface to create highly individual works of beauty.
