James Charlton’s elegant landscapes are created using a subtle palette of colours; these are sophisticated works progressed from sketches, photographs and memory from a young artist who maintains his interest in the textural strength of paint.
Alan Baynes, in contrast to Charlton, presents his landscapes by recreating colours from digitised photographs and then, having these colours specially mixed by a commercial paint supplier.

The first solo exhibition in Wales for this painter from the famous John family. Sara John revels in her creativity, producing in the retrospective exhibition of over 40 paintings a kaleidoscopic range of colour and form.
