Aneurin & Meirion Jones - Chiaroscuro

Contrasts between father and son – generational and in the chosen themes of land for Aneurin and sea for Meirion in a welcome return exhibition.

Both artists are experimenting technically with the medium, which produces a fresh quite expressionistic collection of works. A special commission of the Music Director of Wales National Opera will also go on view.

Will Beckers – ‘Sculpturales’

The artist views the natural world as his source of creativity and his concerns are with forms and their metamorphosis, presented through bronzes and organic structures. Will Beckers trained in Holland as master florist but now lives and exhibits in Barcelona.

Dublin trained Charlotte Swann “positively writes as much as depicts her experience of place in sweeping calligraphic statements” said Aidan Dunne of the Irish Times the painter has been praised for the mix of stillness and restlessness together in her landscapes.

John May studied at Willesden and Brighton Art Schools and then, in the 60’s and encouraged by contemporaries like Peter Blake he began producing paintings and lithographs in Pop Art style.

May taught art in London for thirty years and is now applying twentieth century techniques to his early work of WW2 aircraft.

Mari Thomas & Nicola Palterman

Designer jeweller goldsmiths Mari Thomas and Nicola Palterman who together produce a collection, Floating Diamonds, made of silver, perspex and diamonds.

Also exhibiting individual work from each of their collections – Palterman’s Twig Collection (gold, silver and diamonds) and Thomas’ work inspired by slate in silver, precious and semi precious stones.
