Pat Johnson

Using different media, three South Wales artists demonstrate personal responses to animal identification markings. Pat Johnson is a felt maker using merino fleece, silk fibres and fabrics in bags, garments and vessels. Lynn Walters' 3D sculptures use wire, aluminium, stainless steel and tin. Jean Roberts spins and dyes her own yarns.

Chris Griffin continues to fashion his images from his immediate surroundings, bringing to each subject the intensity of colour and structure that has characterised his work for a number of years. Still life and a series of window paintings are new themes.

Here he will show with painter Brian Smith who depicts actual locations in what he sees as their most ancient or raw state.

Bryan Alcock

Bryan Alcock was Design Director of a large international firm of architects in Cardiff until 2000 when he decided to concentrate on painting. Characteristically the abstracts play on contrasting textures and colour while his current preoccupation is with Celtic iconography.

Simon Rich - A well-known potter from West Wales with a collection of crystalline glazes and green, yellow and iron red colour glazes on elegantly turned vessels and bowls.

Caron Burroughs

Caron Burroughs - A Wales-based jewellery maker currently in her second year of City & Guilds. Primarily created in silver natural elements such as plant and flower forms inspire her delicately textured surfaces. Doming and hammering add a three dimensional aspect.
